Threatening atmosphere

The first thing that hits me is the gorgeous form of this photograph . Sharpness of every detail is very impressive. The scale of the foreground which is slightly blurred adds even greater depth, just as do the clouds at the top. I regret that the horizon divides the image into two halves, but they are so different from each other, that you have to look at it for a long time, for it to become distracting. Wonderfully captured the moment of the storm, the far lights - all of these aspects work together to form a fantastic aura. But perhaps the best side of this image are the colors. All shades of blue, passing into purple with a touch of golden light and almost black shadows. Despite the storm, which is often accompanied by anxiety in the picture below there is peace in this photograph.
